Tour Description Texas Outdoor Family Workshop - Join us for a fun-filled weekend designed to help your
family discover the joys of camping and Texas State Parks.
Two Night Event Details:
Check-in: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Early arrival is encouraged! Campsites are assigned on a first come first served basis. If attending with more than 1 reservation, arrive early to increase the likelihood of camping next to your friends. Please note that time will be needed to pass through the park entrance for your vehicle permit, and travel from the HQ to the campsite for the start of the program. Workshop ends at 11:00am the Sunday morning.
Non-Refundable - 1 Ticket per Family (Up to 6 individuals).
Each $95.00 non-refundable ticket includes park entrance fees, a campsite with nearby restrooms, access to showers, and the use of the following equipment: 6-person tent,two cots for adults,4 foam sleeping pads for children, lantern, camp stove, cooking pots/pans, and a coffee press upon request.

Important Information Texas Outdoor Family Program Terms:
All fees are non-refundable. A one-time transfer to a different workshop can be
requested up until 14 days prior to your scheduled event, pending availability. The transfer must
be requested by phone. Transferring from a One Night workshop to a Two Night workshop will
result in an additional $20.00 charge.
Cancellation Policy: In the regrettable instance that an event is cancelled due to an unforeseen park closure, you will be notified via email ASAP. In the instance that an event is cancelled due to weather, you will be notified on the Wednesday afternoon prior to the event. Ticket holders will be given the opportunity to transfer their reservation to a future event within one calendar year of their cancelled workshop. Due to the state's process for handling funds, refunds cannot be offered.

Tent Camping only. (No Recreational Vehicles or Trailers permitted.)
Includes parking for up to 2 vehicles.
Must have at least one responsible adult per campsite.
All activities and times are subject to weather, staffing, and attendance, and can change
at the ranger's discretion. Review a sample Two Night TOF Agenda.
What to bring: Families are asked to provide their own meals, charcoal (if necessary), tinder/kindling for campfires, bedding, and personal items. Firewood logs are for sale at most State Parks. Please download the TOF Welcome Packet to assist in your planning. Print
and complete the last two pages and bring them with you to the workshop.
Ticket holders will receive an email directly from the ranger with more information
regarding event specifics like the campsite number of the home base for the workshop start, firewood availability, and burn ban status on the Wednesday before the workshop.
